Emerging from the clubs of Chicago, Illinois, Harris and the Mood broke into the pop scene in 2008 with their debut album, Kingdom Come. Aaron Harris' provoking lyrics with straightforward sing-a-longs to produce a solid record chock full of ultra-catchy gems. With standout tracks like “Kingdom Come,” don't be surprised if you find Harris and the Mood at the top of the pop charts and beyond. Harris and the Mood has begun to dig out a niche in the Chicago club scene performing at venues such as The Double Door, The Cubby Bear, The Subterranean and more. HATM has also recently teamed up with non-profit organization "Music For The World," whom they will be traveling to Zimbabwe with next summer. Harris and the Mood and Music for the World are teaming up to perform, teach lessons, supply music/instruments to and meet other needs in a small community of AIDS orphans and widows.
FGC’s only Chicago appearance of the summer is coming up on Friday July 17th at the Abbey Pub. This will be an Ages 18+ show with special supporting acts: Lobster Newberg and The Rubblebucket Orchestra. This Hometown Throwdown is a show not to be missed…hope to see you there!!
