I wonder if I might be very cheeky and plug a Howden Jazz gig on your comments?
Tis on Saturday March 29th at The Shire Hall at Howden with one Tim Kliphuis with Nigel Clark Premier Scots Guitarist and Roy Percy Virtuoso Bassist.
The Tim Kliphuis Trio take Stéphane Grappelli's favourite music in the Gypsy Swing style as a starting point, then fuse it with Celtic tunes (Skye Boat Song, Loch Lomond, The Deil among the Tailors, Danny Boy) and even some Classical idiom from the likes of Bach, Mozart, Grieg and others.
Please check links on my myspace for ticket details etc.
Hey there, Air Lovers... Thank you for adding Lone Flyers as a friend. LF is the new musical that has been keeping Kevin James out of trouble since last autumn! All the best to everyone at the club.
Music has always been a place where anything is possible - a refuge, a magical world where anyone can go, all kinds of people can come together, and anything can happen. We are limited only by our imagination. I believe that what we do and learn inside the world of music can affect what goes on in the world in a big, positive way. music is so important - like food and water. There are so many possibilities, and many doors yet to opened. (Bill Frisell)
