Influences
London, landscapes, legends, the things my friends do when they drink too much, the ocean, pots of tea, conversations over pots of tea, bottles of rum, conversations over bottles of rum, cinemas...on a more musical note, the following people can do very little wrong in my eyes:
Counting Crows
The Hold Steady
Eels
Josh Ritter
Iron & Wine
Bruce Springsteen
About Harry Harris (BOOKING UK TOUR SUMMER 2010 NOW)
Hello! My name is Harry Harris - yes, it's my real name - I'm a Welsh born, London based singer/songwriter. I love London - I love the Southbank, tube maps, friendly bus drivers (I've had two since moving down, they've both made my day), Camden Lock, Yumchaa tea (tea in all it's forms, especially Long Island Iced) and King's College. I love Wales too - fields, stars, winding roads, lambs, pubs with low ceilings. I guess I'm a city boy in a country boys body, or maybe the other way around. Anyway, I'm glad you've stumbled upon this page - new things will be happening this year (and being a student, I mean academic year) so watch this space - come see a show, listen to a song, and if you like them then tell your friends or put me on a mix cd or something.
"...When PBR heard Harry Harris playing in Leamington we couldn't believe the maturity of his song writing, the power of his voice and his ability to hold an audience with songs recalling the likes of Americana greats Iron & Wine and early Ryan Adams. All this from a lad of 17 who'd travelled from Wales for the gig. He will be famous, no doubt about it..." PILLAR BOX RECORDS - WWW.PILLARBOXRECORDS.COM

I present a new Welsh music show on BBC Radio Wales - Sunday night's 10pm - 1am.
On the last Sunday of every month I am starting a Wall-to-Wall music show - 3 hours of uninterrupted music courtesy of the most interesting, leftfield Welsh musicians.
If you have songs / remixes / slabs of noise / ambient field recordings / mutated woofer rattling dustup / sweet indie pop / 21st century punk / mountainside sampling rural hip hop… anything good that exemplifies your creativity, then SEND IT TO ME.

Tokyo is incredible! :) I'm having a great time, Japan is so interesting, and definitely very inspiring. I played a gig in a great bar last night which was completely inpromptu and loads of fun. Re waterfall, all my stuff on myspace is pretty old now...and all a bit rubbish hehe. I've written a lot more since the last time I was able to record, so when I can next get some tracks down hopefully they'll be better hehe :) But thank you sooo much. I'm loving "Andre" :) it's fantastic xxxx
