|
| Bio | As a young boy growing up in rural South Carolina, Harry Riley, with his shy demeanor, never thought he would do so much in so little time. His only goal that he thought he could obtain was UPS delivery driver. After high school he joined the Air Force and served five years before getting out. People had always told him he was funny, but he never thought much about comedy until one day he decided to go to an open mic in Spokane, Washington.
After a couple months at the open mics he entered a comedy competition and made it to the semi-finals. He realizes that that moment he may be on to doing something that he really enjoyed. Crowds loved his energy and emotion with every word spoken on stage. They enjoyed the way he went from weird stories that happened to him to his observations and comments on today’s hottest issues.
He is a runner up of The Spokane’s search for the second funniest comic. He has appeared in commercials and movies and writes and directs his own Internet show called Riley’s Rants. He has become one of the regions hottest young comics in a short span. He travels the country doing shows at comedy clubs, bars, colleges and auditoriums. Local entertainment magazine 7 has called him, “Charming, likable, animated and extremely funny.” The Bonners Ferry Herald said, “His way of getting an audience to laugh is uncanny.” And after you have seen him perform you may say the same thing as well. | | Website | harryjriley.com | | Influences | I would have to say the top 5 comics that influence me are:

Hello, the name is Harry J. Riley. I am a comic, actor, writer, amateur vampire hunter, ex military member, lover (hey ladies), and all around awesome guy. You can usually catch me either at EWU or at one of the local comedy clubs doing my thing. I like to read and raise my ostriches. I have completed courses in CPR, acupuncture, and women's defense. I am a voodoo prince and I can heal your problems if you bring me a chicken, a lemur's paw, and $500.00. I love the ladies, and they love my assets if you know what I mean (they like the Nintendo Wii). That is all you need to know about me and my awesomeness.
