Right here we go, a brief insight into the life of Harry.
Born in Kent, England. Great Grandson of legendary band leader, composer, arranger, impresario and broadcaster Henry Hall.
"After moving across the country to study music, i spent most my time in the studio recording anything i could, trying to track down as much as i could, and finding out new things in the studio. Basically trying to take advantage of all the good equipment.
After studying i would go and jam with the local jazz musicians working on new songs and trying to lay down a set so we could all go play music together. Playing with these guys changed the way i thought about music and had such a big impact in the sound i was trying to find and my communication with other musicians. We then set about gigging around the area trying to spread the word about the music and having loads of fun in the mean time.
Once i finished studying i then tryed to focus all the time i had around writing, playing and recording.
Basically i want to be the best songwriter i can be, to leave my mark in music, to take in, watch, and love as much music as i can, and to one day give back to it what it has given me. Hopefully my music will inspire and create happiness for other people too...... i hope".
Hey, Remember at the your BBQ when we had that discussion about the wall, and I said that Waters had down a live album of it without Floyd? Well just to prove I was right. Luv Ya. XXX
Recorded live in 1989 at the former site of the Berlin Wall, Roger Water's introspective masterpiece celebrates the Cold War's very public end with a star-studded cast of musicians and actors. The Scorpions kick things off with a majestic,Queen-like version of "In the Flesh". Waters and Ute Lemperduet on "The Thin Ice", which leads into the menacing "Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 1". Other highlights include Sinead O'Connor's stirring rendition of "Mother, "backed by RickDanko, Levon Helm, and Garth Hudson of the Band; Paul Carrack's faithful version of "Hey You;" and Van Morrison's soulful take on "Comfortably Numb", featuring Waters, Danko, Helm, and Hudson. Though there's no sign of Water's former bandmates in Pink Floyd, the dour ringmaster enhances the entire performance by casting Tim Curry, Albert Finney, Marianne Faithfull, and others in the ending trial sequence, and bringing the entire company together for an encore of "The Tide IsTurning".
