Ich bin seit ca. 1994 als Profimusiker, -Drummer unterwegs. Angefangen mit der Trommelei hab ich 1990, davor lernte ich auf Wunsch meiner Eltern ca. 6 Jahre Klarinette.
Mein erster professioneller Job als Drummer war bei der Tanz- und Show Band „City Swingtett“.
Über die Jahre gab es zahlreiche Bands/Projekte (u.a. Street wize, Sweet Brassil, Big Band Ulm, Ligeia, Cake Planet , Hämatom, Henry, Warthy, Solemnity, Mad Mixx, Dorian Opera,… Zwischendurch 2 ½ Jahre als Sänger und Gitarrist bei Metropolis), Musicals (u.a. Non(n)sense), Studioaufnahmen (u.a mit Ligeia, Fidelen 13, Cake Planet, Jonas Dorn, Warthy, Mad Mixx, Dorian Opera,…), diverse Fernsehauftritte, Solo-Shows (u.a. auf Festivals zusammen mit Dave Samuels, Jojo Mayer, Manni von Bohr, Drumbassadors,…), Workshops, Feuer- und Varieté-Shows.
Seit ca. 1993 gebe ich Schlagzeugunterricht, mittlerweile an 2 festen Standorten in Erbach (bei Ulm) und in Burgau (zwischen Ulm und Augsburg)
Ich spiele Agner Drumsticks und Agner Drums und NPA Pyro- und Fackelsticks.

Aktuell spiele bei Dorian Opera (www.dorian-opera.de), Solemnity (www.solemnity.de), KING SCHLAYER (www.kingschlayer.de), Harry Reischmann & Friends, Big Band Ulm (www.bigband-ulm.de) bin mit Workshops, Feuer- und Solo-Show unterwegs und natürlich mit verschiedenen Projekten Live und im Studio beschäftigt.

I started my musical career at the age of 7 when I learned to play the clarinet. Though I always knew that I wanted to be a drummer, it turn out to be very hard to convince my parents. Finally, my grandmother bought me my first drumset when I was 13 years old and since that time it’s all about drumming…
Four years later in 1994 I started playing as a professional. The first job I got as a drummer was in the “City Swingtett” – a well known Swing- and Jazz- band in south germany.
Soon after I played with various bands like, e.g. Street wize, Sweet Brassil, Big Band Ulm, Ligeia, Cake Planet , Hämatom, Henry, Warthy, Solemnity, Mad Mixx, Dorian Opera,… , I also started my own cover band “metropolis” where I was the lead singer and gitarrist, recordings were done with some bands, e.g. Ligeia, Fidelen 13, Cake Planet, Jonas Dorn, Warthy, Mad Mixx, Dorian Opera,… , I played around 40 shows in the musical Non(n)sense at the theatre of Neu-Ulm, many, many solo-showes e.g. with Dave Samuels, Jojo Mayer, Manni von Bohr, Drumbassadors,… , different vaudeville showes and showes with fire breathing and lots of workshops.
At the moment I’m touring with the coverband „King Schlayer“ (www.kingschlayer.de), Solemnity (www.solemnity.de), Harry Reischmann & Friends, Big Band Ulm (www.bigband-ulm.de), as well as a solo drummer with fire showes and workshops. The recording for the second album with Dorian Opera (www.dorian-opera.de) is also present.

In 1993 I started to give drum lessons. The number of students increased over the years and now I have two fixed locations (UL-Erbach and GZ-Burgau) to teach and train.
Books / DVDs
Through giving lesson I got motivated to write my first book which is called „Double Bass für den Banddrummer“ (“Double bass for band-drummers”).
Equipment
I play Agner Drumsticks and Agner Drums as well as NPA pyro- and torch-sticks.
