IT'S Finally Here! Switching Places. My Short film which was shot last winter. It took a while, but thank God I was able to put it up for you all to see. Be easy on the judgement, cause it's my very first. I'm still learning and making moves. I worked as a director of photography, cameraman, editor, and of course the others. I am now in the independent filmmaking community, so please allow me to grow. I'm willing to work on your film with you, if you need help. I'll probably be the difference on your film whether it's ok or little above ok. I know My stuff and I don't play when It comes to filmmaking.

This is a little Spec. Commercial turned into a short. Lots of obstacles, but we did what we could. Thanks to the whole crew and everybody that supported. T.Boye Doe, for providing the camera-you my dude. Steph Coger for steping up to associate produce, and Lavasia and Levar for acting for us when our professionals didn't show. And Steph's cousin Darryl and his wife Christine for lending us their house and car for the production. It was cold and crazy, but I thank God for what we were able to get out of it. I am so sorry for omiting one of my main actors name in this film. His name is Danicio Olf. He is the middle age kid with the radio. Sorry Danicio, please forgive me.

My production assistant duties extended again in this film. There is a scene where Queen Latifah is talking to a pregnant lady sitting on a sofa. That's Chyna Layne. She was the lead in the film "Sexually Transmitted Demons" Written and Directed by Shauntay Cherry. I was the First Aissistant Director and also did some camera work on it. That should come out in a couple of months. Stay Tune.

I was a staff Production Assistant on this one. I handled the walkie talkies on set. That's a very important job on a movie set. Everyday, I had to make sure that those suckers were charged and ready to go for the crew. I think I ended up with like 200+ walkies. Some PA jacked some of my SV Mics (you know who you are; give it BACK). Enjoy the trailer and then go see the movie.

About me:
Harry B. is a film director from Monrovia Liberia –West Africa. His goal is to one day put West Africa on the world's map as a viable film and entertainment nation. He migrated to the United States in 1989 and has been here since. His film education started at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After earning his BA degree in Media Studies with a concentration in film and television production he moved to Maryland and started his own video production company "Moral Media Productions." Harry B was unsatisfied with the direction in which his company MMP was taking him. His dream was to direct films, and MMP was only able to produce social and event videos. He and his wife Keisha then decided to move to New York to pursue a film career. After 6 months of working in the film industry as a Production Assistant; working on such films as "I am Legend--Will Smith Actor" I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry--Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Actors" "New York City Serenade, Frank Whaley-Director" "Life Support, Queen Latifah, actor w/Jamie Foxx Exe. Producer" and many more, Harry B decided that the Production Assistant game was a dead end to becoming a film director and started to write and direct his own films. The journey is a hard one, but the one who is willing to persevere will succeed. In December of 2006, Harry B. wrote a short film called "Switching Places" and shot it in Feb. of 2007. A week after production of Switching Places, Harry B wrote another short "From the Heart" and is now searching for funding to shoot it. He has also joined forces with some writers and other aspiring filmmakers in the NYC metropolitan area to start producing films in hope of making it to the big leagues. There are now about 3 feature films being scripted, 1 television show and many shorts on the way. Harry B's break through strategy is to write and direct as many short films as possible and then hit the film festival market. With some heavy internet marketing and showcase, someone will eventually discover this enthusiastic, motivated and talented film director from Monrovia Liberia.

Hopefully this information would help all and anybody who wants to hire me for their next project. In light of all of the inquiries about showing my work, this is what I would say to you. Until I get the best work that represent the direction in which I want to go for my career at this time, I will have nothing to post and nothing to show you. However, I am a new director trying to break into the film industry. For 8 years I worked as a social and event videographer and editor, and then I moved to NYC to further my film career. Just like everyone who has to pay his dues in this industry, I've worked on some films that were lower then low budget which qualify for the "No Budget" category of filmmaking. Who I'd like to meet: The Artist's name is Precise (a.k.a Bob Young) some of you may know him from Corey Red and Precise. For others, this is an introduction. This is my first music video that I treated, produced and directed, so I hope you enjoy it. I am learning and growing, but I'm learning with some of the best in the industry.
