Spawned from the ashes of Ottawa bands Mumbleweed, Neanderthal Sponge and Pleather, HARSHEY is a fun-loving, hard-drinking group of friends looking to win over your hearts and ears. Harshey play an original brand of rawk influenced by old school punk (Black Flag, Angry Samoans, Dead Kennedys), as well as bands like Sonic Youth, QOTSA, Nirvana and The Hives. Featuring two lead vocalists (?) that have their own distinctive sound, songs range from stomp-along rawkers to blistering speed head-shakers. The band will release their sophmore CD, the first one featuring L'il Lars on the low end, on Saturday November 11th at The Babylon.

Hi there HARSHEY first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that.
