Hart Brake Kid was born in the summer of 2008 out of the disbandment of the Fresno based band, South of Shaw. Guitarist and South of Shaw founder, Bob Amendola, relocated to Los Angeles, CA and set out to assemble a new project comprised of experienced and proven players.
