Quality acoustic music is what Jeff Hartley and Bryan Joseph are all about. The mixing of Jeff’s fine fingerstyle guitar playing and unique songwriting accompanied by Bryan’s lead guitar and mandolin work make Hartley & Joseph a sound worth hearing.
From the Neil Young inspired “Another Happy Hollow Sunday” to the across-the-ocean “Second Flight,” their original instrumentals can be contemplative or toe tapping.
The cover-song list includes interpretations of tunes by such diverse artists as Prine, Petty, Dylan, the Beatles, and even Stephen Foster and Harburg/Arlen of Wizard of Oz fame.
Hartley & Joseph are not a big volume dance band but put the focus on the song and are not afraid to play something fresh and original. If you enjoy music with its roots in folk, pop, and Americana then give Hartley & Joseph a call. “Hartley and Joseph are so original that they make original out of date. They can make you laugh, cry, and think all in the same song. Musical entertainment at its best from this acoustic duo who will please any audience. Foot tapping, belly laughing music and song.”
