Harvey Summers is a composer/producer - best known for his chillout records. His albums for the EMI/Disky label have sold over 1 million copies worldwide. He has featured on numerous compilation albums including The Buddha Experience and Traveling Without Moving alongside artist such as Air, Talvin Singh, Nittin Sawhney, Vangelis, Nick Cave and many others.
As a songwriter, producer & remixer, he has worked with Paul McCartney, Geno Washington, Abi Ryan, Lisa Andreas, Spyder 130, Clacket Lane, Jam & Spoon, Mumm-Ra, Russ Conway, Artful Dodger, Cathy Dennis, Phil Thornton, Kenny Craddock, Logan Wilson and more.
He is also an accomplished film music composer - having scored feature film 'Chilly Dogs' starring Leslie Neilson, Rik Mayal, Skeet Ulrich & Natasha Henstridge, Tv's Doctor Who and commercials for the World Wildlife Fund.
Harvey is currently working on a new project 'Marionette' - a collection of songs and instrumentals exploring unusual instrumentation and 'broken' or 'found' instruments alongside more traditional arrangements.
Based at his 'Broadoak Studios' in Sussex, Harvey plays many instruments including Piano, Guitar, Accordion, Whistles, Percussion, Bazoukie, Mandolin and Synthesizers.
Harvey can currently be seen performing with The Blood - seminal UK punk band - The new acoustic album 'punk@theopera', produced by Harvey will be available soon.
