.. "It came to me in a dream...", said Damion Walker.."Not Really". The manifestation of the alias "Harvey Wallbanger" just randomly came to him. For those clueless, a Harvey Wallbanger is an alcoholic beverage/cocktail composed of vodka, galliano, and orange juice. "I still have no clue why I chose that name." Damion created the first track "Vodka and Oj", as just a project to do for a hobby. Suddenly the tracked was loved locally and it motivated him to progress from one track into an entire album titled "Harvey's Law". The name of the album is a play on words for Murphy's Law which meant "If anything goes wrong, it will" or in military terms "Snafu". "Harvey's Law basically meant to me...the opposite of Murphy's Law. If anything can go right, it will." speaking towards the success of the first track.
The music of Harvey Wallbanger is a mixture of rap,hip-hop,comedy,crunk,hard rock,punk and hair metal. "It's basically an amalgation of all the music types I love." While Harvey's Law was being processed, Damion or Harvey began work with longtime close friends Danger Lee (Robert Lee) and Codizzle (Cody Bynum) with their already started project "Chubby Fat Kid" (http://www.myspace.com/fighttheforce). This began well while all three also juggled a metal band they were in together named "Dreams Lay Destroyed".
Several months later, Codizzle went on an epic journey and the death of both Dreams Lay Destroyed and Chubby Fat Kid was forseen. Damion began to work on other projects but found hard to find the time to do them including other rap projects and a comic book that's in the works. Through this struggle, Damion began work on the next Harvey Wallbanger album , " The Epic ". "I want to amp up my style, production work, etc. I want to make The Epic self-explanitory." Such new internet success' such as "Sexy Beautiful Women" and "Crank" came online for viewing while also doing two new upcoming projects in his spare time, a mixtape "The Suomynona Tapes" and a collaboration album with Danger Lee. The progress of Harvey Wallbanger is ont he rise. To quote others like himself..."I did it for the lulz." ..
