I am 27 year old, from Iraq and live in Norway. Oud player, melody maker and lyric writer.
I was born in Basrah, played the Oud since 1998 when I was 18 years old. I was a member of poem association in Basrah. Studied theater in Basrah university in 1999-2000. In 2001 I had to leave my country, and the destination was Norway.
In Norway I joined a music band "Naheddi" Bergen in 2005. And Naheddi was the first album for me. In Naheddi I play with Amir Saion(Iraq) and Adama Barry(Africa). I left the group in 2006, but now i made an other band called «Gilgamesh». On the album "Tigris Nights" I play the Oud and sing in Arabic.
I love this music. It is professional yet still sound..s exciting.The music has an organic sound,as if it was being played in your living room. I wish I owned a label,I would make this record a hit!
