HASTIE RETREAT RECORDING STUDIO
Dundee's premier home based studio. Located on the outskirts of the city centre of Dundee, Hastie Retreat Recording Studio was founded in 2001 by Willie Hastie. Hastie Retreat is the only studio in Tayside that records using 24 track 2inch analogue tape with a vast array of outboard equipment to give that true analogue sound. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks, there are no flights of stairs to climb and no noisy bands in the next room. The entire studio is yours and yours alone. It has a relaxed atmosphere and provides a top quality service by catering for all styles of music, e.g. solo musicians, classical singers, pianists, acoustic guitarists and all types of Rock, Pop and Soul Bands. Samples of recordings can be heard in the demos section of our website. Bands that have recently recorded at Hastie Retreat Recording Studio can be heard on the myspace player and reflects the differing styles of music.
