Hate Profile fouses the unfocused, blurries the sharp.
It is a conceptual project - it is scorn, revolt, modern ruin, nothingness, avant-gardism, uneasiness, tradition. It is intense spirituality, introspection; a prophecy from our esoteric path - It is the Voice of the Dark Age.
Hate Profile was founded back in 1998 by Amon 418 (later with Opposite Sides and Hortus Animae, ex of Baratro).
After a three-years sound research as a band (with members from Defixio and Entity), Amon 418 decided to continue as a one-man project and layed down the songs for Opus I: "The Khaos Hatefile". The lyrical inspiration manifested itself in a three-album concept whose following chapters are Opus II "The Soul Proceeds" and Opus III "Spirit Breed Era Vulgaris".
The debut album was recorded with GroM as the session drummer, entirely produced thoughout 2004 by Amon 418 for Era Vulgaris Musick and published by Cruz del Sur Music (2005/06), with the collaboration of M:Fabban of Aborym as cover artist. The Khaos Hatefile was acclaimed as one of the most modern sounding Black Metal records to date, professionally produced and aggressively performed, pushing forward the boundaries of the genre without losing its underground straight ferocity.
By late 2008, m:A FOG (Black Flame, Slavia, Janvs, Dead To This World, ex of Glorior Belli and Disiplin) joined Hate Profile as the new drummer, bringing in his skills and energy.
2009: Hate Profile is presently working on OPUS II.
