Emerging in early 2008 to Cleveland's local metal scene, Hathaway brings a unique, yet still rooted hardcore sound to the table. Offering unnecessary doses of harmonizing, fast paced, yet melodic song structure, and the most disgusting, original breakdowns you will ever hear, Hathaway blends the sounds of the Metal/Hardcore genre with a trademark stamp.
Founded by Jess and Zack, the local five piece metal band began as an ordinary, run-of-the-mill garage band, playing local talent shows and house parties. The band jumped on their local high school's Battle of the Bands, and won first place. They decided they would take their project to the next level. The band soon landed a show at Lakewood's Phantasy Nite Club, participating in Madtown Records/Mastermind Production's Battle of the Bands 2008. Even though Hathaway was the youngest of many bands to play that night, they still came out victorious, winning first place. After their first successful "REAL" show, they were offered to play various venues and became known as the local Metalcore monster they are today, taking their versatile hardcore sound to the Cleveland stages with many local and national touring acts, such as Forever In Terror, NOA, Amplexus, Deception of a Ghost, and Seven Year Dungeon Beard.

anytime man. we're gonna have a farewell show for our drummer for when he goes off to college in late august. we've already got Oh My Word playing and we're working on getting another 6 to 8 bands to play.
