Howdy you all, I am from TEXAS I try to get back down there as often as I can. The country music industry has a direct connections in TEXAS. The DALLAS and AUSTIN areas are the main areas where the music industry in TEXAS is located. In the old days there were only two main places to play in the DFW area, Panther Hall in Fort Worth and Bob Wills' Long Horn Ballroom in Dallas. Dwey Groom bought the facility from Bob and he ran an operated it for over 50 years. It was later sold to the Bell Star Corporation in Dallas. The owners and they were operators of Bell Star's, Stampedes, Wild Wild West, Country 2000 and Cowboys. Cowboys at the time became the largest country night club franchise company in the world with over 1200 locations across the US. There are many new artist that are up and coming.
