The Hudson Valley Region of New York state is rich in resources, activities, history, and most of all- SPOOKY STORIES!
We are collecting personal stories from throughout the Hudson Valley: Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Columbia,and Greene counties make up the region that we are looking for stories from.
Why? There are many who research and explore the paranormal-and many more who have unexplained activity happen to them. HHV wants to chronicle these accounts and share these experiences and happenings.
Who I'd like to meet: We'd like to collect personal stories from local residence about their spooky experiences here in the Hudson Valley. Perhaps it was the house you grew up in, or a place you had camped, or a story your grandfather told you about when he was boy...
Please send us as much info as possible- the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, and FEELING of the experience. You can CHANGE names (but indicate you have done so)and NO specific addresses. You can say "a two-family house in Milton" but not "123 Main St in Milton"- include pictures, auto/video files, etc.
We'll contact you if we need more info or clarification. The goal is to have a working database of local stories that will either become a website, book, or both!
Please note that the only way this will work is BY WORD OF MOUTH. This is people talking to people about the paranormal and other things as yet unexplained. WHORE US OUT, yo!
