  • Bio

    Havarax is a one man project born from guiltiness and frustration in 2004. It's an instrument to appease and channel L.C.R's ever growing anger towards religion and life in general. The concept is strongly inspired by 70's horror movies, and the music features loads of samples from the witch-hunt, nunsploitation, W.I.P, and demonic possession B movie genres. It also drains stimulation from anything that portrays the church in a negative light. The music and lyrics either convey a feeling of profound despair or promote Anti-Christian themes through blasphemous anthems. After a series of obscure demos the first full-length album came out in 2008 entitled "No Access to the Divine", released on Odium Records (Black Altar/Arvas/Crepusculum) the album received good reviews as a suicidal/BM band. After two splits that unveiled a more aggressive side of the project, Havarax will return with a second full-length in 2011 called "The Iconography of Perversion", the album will be the synthesis of everything the band stands for.
