Havilah's songwriting fuses jazz and blues influences with an alternative, rhythmic edge. With a penchant for songsmithing and wordplay, Havilah's lyrics - sometimes poignant, other times humerous, convey her own perspective on love, life and the world at large. A gypsy at heart, Havilah recently returned from a year long stint in Europe where she performed in Irish pubs, flamenco bars and Italian rodeos. Upon returning to the U.S., Havilah left her cottage by the sea in Bellingham, WA and relocated to the musical treasure trove of Austin, TX where she has become a fast fixture among a vibrant community of singer songwriters. Havilah's ever expanding fan base is appeased by frequent tours of the east and west coasts, where her warm, personal stage presence and eclectic musical style continue to inspire diverse audiences of all ages.
