What can I say??? Every year we congregate in a field in Upper Salford, PA, and party like rock stars for 6 days!!! This is our sacred ground, and our place to forget our lives, and play music and do things our mommies told us not to for 5 days...

Philadelphia, PA - May 29, 2008 - I am THRILLED to learn that my birthday this year (August, 14th) falls on the Thursday that we get to Folk Festival!!!! You know what this means, right????

Let's see... Out of my 21 years of Fest -- I've never missed a year my entire life! -- I don't think I ever introduced myself. Surely our paths have crossed at least once, though. Figured [after all this time] I might as well see who I can find on this wretched site and prepare for more festing in 2008. ;o)

Happy Birthday, Brian! See you this week at fest and we'll raise a toast to August Birthdays. Good Luck with staking your ground, we are trying to do the same up the hill from you, as usual. hey, i just read what my sister commented to u and if u need some help let me know, i only have a few friends coming with me this year but im sure we can help as soon as we get our volenteer bagdes for the weekend.
Im not sure yet if we are going, as i will be at 8 months and probably not up for being hot. We may try to make a night concert. I want to see doc Watson. but you should reach my little sis. she is going and may be able to get a crew to help assemble havoc etc.
