Parkour has been defined as the art of displacement, a recreational activity of French origin, the aim of which is to move from point A to point B as efficiently and quickly as possible, using principally the instinctive abilities of the human body. It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment; from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls. Parkour can be practiced in both rural and urban areas.
Created by George Hebert as a military training with the purpose of overall physical training and strength conditioning and brought to the civilian fitness world by David Belle as an art of movement emphasising on freedom. The art of displacement focuses on practicing efficient movements to develop your body and mind to be able to overcome obstacles in an emergency. Parkour is also taken up for entertainment or as a pastime and is quickly spreading throughout the continents.
Hawaii Parkour was created with the idea of bringing together those who share a strong passion and discipline for Parkour/Free running with the main purpose to represent Hawaii Parkour while experiencing growing with it. Urban Current Clan was founded in August 31st of 07
Living in the middle of the ocean waters, inspired by the flow movement of the waves; the water element, we overcome in any form possible natural and man made obstacles in our path. "Live Free. Run Free ans Stop at NOTHING"
We have in mind future projects such as advertisement, PK lessons and filming projects (Show, Stunts, martial arts, real live situation where PK is needed)
oh i see. Well, I usually don't do business with people unless they are locally around, but I wouldn't mind helping you and the parkour team out. Yeah I can try and rum up something. I justt need a few details from ya and I can get started on it. I'll send it to ya in a message.
Hey wasup?? Yeah radiohead's the shit..Anywhho, I usually don't charge on logos. Even though I do freelance work, I honestly don't put a charge on my artwork. Though I should because again, time is money. The time I spent on making designs and logos could vary from 5 hours to 3 days.
hehe yep i just went to check out this place in kaimuki today has some decent spots but its another district park with park directors like that other one idk if they aggro though i dont have my camera right now so i can't take pics unfortunately
Hey man, awesome turn vault tutorial. I watched it yesterday at work.....and started doing them last night at practice. You made it really easy to understand and I'm stoked doing them!
uhp, you got me started on my camcorder..lol. I got LOTS to share wit you..
This is a Canon HV30. One of the top of the line, High Def., Consumer Camcorders that can record just as well as a Proffesional Camcorders. It's small, compact, yet pacts a lot of features that is well worth the price for the camera. The Canon Hv30 is a steady upgrade from the Canon HV20 only because of it's black sleek color and that it can record 30progressive mode. The best feature about this camera, is it's ability to recored 24 progressive. This feature along with settings on "Cine" mode, give a real feel of cinema/movie like qaulity. The High defintion qaulity provides crisper qaulity picture and not the ordinary home video qaulity that looks very underwashed. HDMI inputs allow you to view it on high def. t.v. This camera recors at 1080i, which is fit for High Def. t.v.s Camera used CMOS sensors which picks up color fidelity and gives better color saturation. Struggles a little bit under low light conditions (night shots) but typical for Canons. This camera can run from $703-$1,100, but luckily, I got mines for only $832.00. For the price i paid for it, it was well worth the price. I have a Stereo Canon L2 mic attached to it and a Sony 1.5x teleconversion lens on it. Camera runs on small Mini-Dv tapes and has a MPEG2 conversion, which is real helpful when making and transferring video. Usually, converting video causes qaulity loss but with the Canon HV30, you wouldn't have that problem. You can also take snapshot pcitures on it with Camera mode which runs on 3.1 megapixels, which isn't that bad honestly. All in all, I give the camcorder a 9/10. Easy to use, controls at your thumbs, easy navigation, awesome picture fideltiy and sound, and very compact. Great use for any type of amateur film making. I'd suggest this camera.
So yeah there it is..lol. It's really that awesome, I'm not even kidding.
Looked at some of the conditioning vids. Good stuff man, I'm going to try some of it. Also I wanted to say THANK YOU for all this info and stuff, it really is great. I really need something like Parkour in my life since I'm no longer in school and have no sports. If you ever need any info with anything I can help you with (politics/philosophy/economics) you let me know man. I would be glad to return the favors.

You're doing such an outstanding job with the meets, jams, practice sessions, and training tips/vids. I can't wait to get back over for another gym session. I had so much fun last time, minus rolling. I still suck. Give me some time to get everything straightened out and I'll be over there hittin foam blocks face first with the best of em.

I was down in Kaneohe visiting my dad's uncle 2 months ago and I watched your guys videos before that, so I decided to walk around to see if anyone free running and I think you were the one in the red.
