Parkour has been defined as the art of displacement, a recreational activity of French origin, the aim of which is to move from point A to point B as efficiently and quickly as possible, using principally the instinctive abilities of the human body. It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment; from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls. Parkour can be practiced in both rural and urban areas.
Created by George Hebert as a military training with the purpose of overall physical training and strength conditioning and brought to the civilian fitness world by David Belle as an art of movement emphasising on freedom. The art of displacement focuses on practicing efficient movements to develop your body and mind to be able to overcome obstacles in an emergency. Parkour is also taken up for entertainment or as a pastime and is quickly spreading throughout the continents.
Hawaii Parkour was created with the idea of bringing together those who share a strong passion and discipline for Parkour/Free running with the main purpose to represent Hawaii Parkour while experiencing growing with it. Urban Current Clan was founded in August 31st of 07

thanks for the encouragement. i was recently approched by a talent agency and they loved my video so they made an appointment for me on saturday to go in and talk to the cause they want to see about putting me in commercials, once agian thank you so much for getting me started!
Hey I finally got to do parkour in a more urban enviroment andhad the time of my life but I have a question any tips on how to fom a team me and my one other friend are the only 2 people in my area that have taken intrest and the people on the streets were freaking out butI feel like we need more people any tips onmaking a team?
