WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? HOW CAN I SUBMIT A SONG? IS THERE A PREFERRED GENRE?
Welcome to the Hawaii Underground Music Society! (H.U.M.S.)
If you wish to submit a song and image (5 Megs or less!), send it here, but please READ THE FOLLOWING FIRST:
1) By “Hawaii Underground” we mean local, preferably UNUSUAL & unsigned! While Myspace membership is not necessary, it would be helpful. There are now FIVE songs per music profile available on MYSPACE, SIX if you befriend BODOG ENTERTAINMENT which happens instantly, as soon as you 'friend' them.
There are a few formats this page can adopt, a) Mixed Plate, or 6 different artists per month, b) Open House, or a mixed plate format with no time line with a rotation of artists and c) Featured Artist, or ALL (4 to 6) song slots dedicated to one artist or group.
2) Begin by sending ONE (1) MP3 song entry to: hums@musician.org , please DO NOT EMAIL-BOMB US with AIFF files, (Uncompressed CD music files) videos or multiple entries, until requested!
3) Also, we will need to know whether or not you want people to be able to add, download, or rate your song(s). You may or may not also want to add pictures and lyrics for each song entry.
4) The Hawaii Underground Music Society ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR INDIVIDUAL COPYRIGHTS! By participating in H.U.M.S., you are agreeing to take responsibility for all of your own intellectual property. Please see our BLOGS for helpful information on legally protecting your music, and how to go about forming your own Myspace profiles.
5) OUR PROMISE:The Hawaii Underground Music Society IS NOT A SCAM! WE PLEDGE THAT WE WILL NEVER STEAL, SAMPLE OR INFRINGE UPON YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN ANY WAY. All agreements, permissions or alliances between individual members of H.U.M.S. are not the responsibility of the group as a whole.
6) H.U.M.S. WILL do our utmost to PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY! We will not accept Friend Requests from obvious spammers, share or sell email or personal information, or in any other way knowingly jeopardize or compromise our member’s right privacy. We want you to feel safe, have fun, and most importantly, FEEL THE LOVE!
