About me: The Hawai'i Video Gaming League is unique among most organizations of its kind. Besides our efforts in providing an atmosphere where our members can meet, engage in friendly competition and expand their understanding of gaming culture, we endeavor to take an active role in re-shaping the perspective held by the community.
We are also a part of the Otaku 5-0 podcast. The only entertainment podcast in Hawai'i.
We do community service events and charity events to help our community in its time of need. We beleive that this will not only better the communities view of gamers but also our own view of ourselves.
Who I'd like to meet: Gamers who are interested in showing the world another side of gaming culture. And those who wish to better the community.
Also any hard core gamers who can help teach those who are of noob status to become elite like themselves.

I'm on a bit of a break from gaming since I quit WoW and just moved here to Honolulu a couple days ago... My Xbox is still in Maui, lol. I just wanted to meet new groups of people...especially gamers. :3
I've been beating Throwdown pretty consistently with my Team Watts, so I don't know if I can teach you all too much, but if you ever see me online, send me a request to play, I will definitely get some games in with you. I'm not as good as Nismor or Toby but I have been holding my own online.

I told my friends from the mainland all about the wonderful things you do for the community (and the tournament you had for the purpose of donating food to the needy)...

Well after the 11th of April is there any word on the next monthly date? I'm sorry I haven't decided on the summer 2 day thing. I'm checking with all of the players on the mainland for the best possible choice of dates.
