I like to dance. I listen to music while i paint. Contemporary Christian music is what i listen to mostly. Third Day, Russ Lee, Jars of Clay, Bebo Norman, Sonic flood, Jeremy Camp, Salvadore, Phillups craig and dean, Kirk Franklin, Jeff Ferguson is annointed!... I also like soundtracks and show music, Kiss of the spider woman, Soundheim! oldies, Gladys Knight! Sylvester!!! Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Martha and the Vandellas! and some country. Johnny Cash rules! I love his gospel music and Hymms. I went through a country phase once...got involved in gay square dancing! Im a huge Judy Garland fan, definitely the greatest entertainer that ever lived!Somewhere over the rainbow... Anita O'day, Rosemary Clooney and Delores Gray were the voices i always used for my drag lip syncing. Sometimes Lena Horne too! , B52's rock!Love Fantasia Burrino! If i want to cry i put on Billie Holiday records. Bette Midler should have won the academy award for "The Rose" I love old Dolly Parton, such a beautiful, pure voice.Shirley Horn is what i like in the tub!

I grew up on T.V. i watched H.R.Puffenstuff, The Monkeys, BJ and Dirty Dragon, Lost In Space!!!! Tha Banana Splits! Dark Shadows! I had a Barnabas Collins ring that i sent for from bubblegum trading cards! Star Trek, Dr. Who. Babylon 5. The late night Screaming yellow Theater! I never missed Mary Hartman! Mary Hartman! or Dynasty!!! Now i think C.S.I. Miami rules!!!!Love that Emily Proctor! lookin good! Im wild for THE CLOSER!!! Ugly Betty, 'Survivor', 'So you think you can dance'.'American Idol!!!!' "e.r." 'Antiques Roadshow', Projerct Runway, Americas Next Top Model, Science fiction...Star Trek. I LIKE T.V. ALOT! I have to pry myself away from it and get something worthwhile done!I could watch old reruns of British comedys all day long! Are you being served. Keeping up appearances. The bible of course! I get inspiration for my paintings in it and inspiration for life. I read all the Left Behind novels. All 14 Wizard of Oz books! My favorite is "The Patchwork Girl of OZ" Fave author is Connie Willis. Scince fiction. Doomsday Book is so good. Anything by Orson Scott Card, Enders Game is fab. Octavia Butler is a truly great writer and ive read all of hers. The Hobbit, all the Harry Potter books, When i was a kid my mom read all the Dr. Seuss books outloud to me, my favorites were Horton Hears a Who, and Bartholemew and the Ewbleck! Poetry: Robert Frost,Elizabeth Bishop, Margaret Atwood,Pablo Neruda, Jack Kerouac and the beat writers, Thomas Merton... Sister Faustina Divine Mercy diary, and "Was" an awesome book about a.i.d.s. and a mans obsession with oz.
Jesus of course! but from this earth...Picasso made me want to be an artist! Man could that man draw!!!!, Van Gogh intoxicates me with his color, Alice Neel taught me to be more immediate and spontaneous in my art,I have Frida Kahlo tattooed on my back i love her so much! , Louise Nevelson was a truly unique individual and visionary, Alice Neel rocks! Leon Golub blows my mind! Botero makes me laugh, Karl Wirsum was the best teacher i ever had and his work makes me giggle and clench my toes! His color takes me to my happy place! all great artists that have inspired me alot. Love Joyce Meyer! great woman of God, read her books to get your life together.Her book "Dont let your emotions control your life" helped me sooooo much! She teaches the bible so anyone can understand it, even me!. [watch out though, she is not on the right side of the gay issue...hopefully someday she will be enlightened...]and of course, that amazon RuPaul!!!! my drag hero. Elton John is still the greatest, and L. Frank Baum, creator of my beloved OZ. Dr. Seuss and Charles M. Shultz, Any artist who refuses to give up and against all odds continues to make art in world that really does not care if you make it or not. You are my hero!!!!! Never quit. Express yourself and never waste your God given gifts. Alcoholics in recovery! I have been sober and clean for over 15 years!!! I owe alot to my Pastor, Randy Duncan. I met lots of beautiful people there. Very creative environment, full of beauty. Now that i am a Christian i cant be shady anymore, but i still have lots of good clean fun. I love everything OZ!!!! I go to the Wizard of OZ fest in Chesterton In. every year to meet the last living munchkins and wear my OZ costumes.I worked at Ed Debevics Diner in Chicago for nine years! as a singing dancing waiter and D.J. named MoonDawggie! My picture is still on the menue there with my big pompadore and lambchop sideburns! I was a guest on the Jenny Jones show with my friend Ginger Snapps, and we did a comedy skit with her! I was in a Bud Light commercial! My favorite color is orange. I love pie! I went to Egypt two times and loved it there. Australia rocks! I went there to meet the crocodile hunter...He is/was so hot! Darn stingray! I have three brothers and one that is a Catholic priest! He is an awesome man of God!I grew up in St. Charles Il. along the fox river. I am happiest when i am visiting Hawaii. I can always use creative friends and would love to know more artists. Poets too! and just plain good people. Celebrate diversity!
Who I'd like to meet: The Wizard! seriously, David Hockney the artist is one of my favorites and meeting him would be awesome!He can draw a shirt thrown over a hotel chair and make it an exciting drawing. Joyce Meyer would be fun to meet. I listen to her tapes and read her books.She has really helped me understand Gods word. Bill Jackson the creator of Dirty Dragon, really inspired me and molded me with his endless creativity. Quentin Crisp is a complete original. Leigh Bowery was a genius and extroiderary. Elton John or Tina Turner would give me a huge thrill too! Dame Edna is sooo funny! The Lady Chablis! I love my Divas! Whitney!!!! Love to meet other artists and creatives! also gay christians. Christian crossdressers and drag queens for Jesus! I plan on meeting Jesus someday in person! until then, ill just talk to him. I would love to meet Julie Andrews and Leslie Ann Warren. Tom Sellek makes me shiver and shake! Dirk Bogard was really sumptin! Ellen Degeneres is so cute. Martha Stewert makes the world a better place! I did meet Michael Jackson! He was quite nice and not as wierd as you might think. I worked at the Limelight club and met Andy Warhol and Yoko Ono. I met the Fonze and Dr. Ruth Westheimer and Julie Newmar when i worked at Ed Debevics resturant!I danced with Stevie Nicks at a club! I met PeeWee Herman [Paul Ruebens} when i was a soda jerk at a cool joint called Goodies. I LOVE THE CIRCUS!
