Also, in no particular order, I love: playing the blues - funk bands with horn sections - bluegrass music - jam sessions - ALL the Music Teachers and Workers that help keep Hawk Music Center THE coolest Music store in the Lehigh Valley! - And ALL of Hawk Music's faithful customers and students - sitting across from my wife at dinner - watching my son grow ( NOT TO HARD TO DO! ) - our dog Molly - working on my truck - getting my hands dirty - just about anything green - working in the yard - trees - recycle! recycle! recycle! - my Godchild Val ( man, she can sing !!!) - ALL my nephews and nieces - heavy guitar strings - all types of music! - golfing - fast cars - rollercoasters - running in races - shootin hoops - and a good beer buzz... About me:
Playing guitar is my favorite pastime. Although its been about 17 years since those fun days with "NIGHTHAWK", I have recently returned to playing out with Don Cunningham and his band, "The Mayor and his Cabinet" as a fill-in guitar player. (Thanks for the opportunity Don)... Currently I am working on a couple band projects, hoping to get at least one of them up and running soon... I will keep you posted on their progress... I also frequent the monthly blues jamm and open mics at Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem...
In addition to playing music, I love setting up and repairing guitars and other musical instruments for my customers over at Hawk Music Center. (www.hawkmusiccenter.com)... Guitar set-up's are my specialty! So, bring your Guitar or Bass in sometime and give me a try... Also,I love to go out and hear live music with my Wife, family and friends. Really, anything from school marching bands to sold-out concerts! Like: Van Halen(1984 tour), Nickel Creek, Eric Johnson, John Mayer, Jerry Douglas 07, and Johnny A. to name a few. But my favorite thing to do is to go out and support the local musician as much as I can. I can relate to the long hours, low pay, and smoke filled rooms these special folks put up with. Check out my list of local bands, below left, under Music.... I also love to golf. Golfing is very relaxing for me, But not always rewarding as music is. You golfers know what I mean. Also, Philly sports "all the way baby"... EAGLES / PHILLIES / FLYERS / SIXERS. Love watching them in person or on tv. And hope one day soon, to see a victory parade in Philadelphia..., and finally, I hope that someday I get the opportunity to go into a recording studio and lay down some tracks. Either my music or to accompany someone else...
