Welcome. We are Tony Hawks, Chesney Hawkes and Ash Alexander.
We’re the brainchild of me, Tony Hawks, the writer of this introduction. Were one of the others writing this, I guess they would claim the credit for us. But that’s typical of them. Any way, all you need to know is that we’re really lovely - oh yes, and that we keep getting together at my house in France to write some rather groovy songs.
That’s all you need to know for now. Except for me to point out that I’m the tallest of the three and possibly the oldest.
It was totally fantastic to see all 3 of you at the cracker (Ches & Tony on the stage & Ash in the crowd, getting squashed with the rest of us!!) ha ha
Was going to leave a comment sooner but it looked liked your space had been abandoned!!
Glad to see you are greeting your fans again and look forward to hearing more from you in 2008!!
Happy New Year to u (a bit late I know but I do mean it)! Love 2 u xxxx
P.S It would be great if Ash could join you on stage too at this years cracker! Any chance of that happening??! xx
Well, it's about time you lot finally got back online! :)
Looking forward to hearing any new songs you've come up with, as well as stories of what exactly you three got up to in the Pyrenees. Or is Tony saving all the good stuff for his next book?
hey there lovelies, how are you all? sorry i havn't commented for a while, i've been using face book a bit too much!!! hope that you're all well, miss ya Ches xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
thanks very much for the add although the nearest I get to skimpy clothing is the dash in bra and knickers between the bathroom and bedroom through the hall when for a nanosecond I may be visible to a neighbour :O) I really enjoyed Tony's book A Piano in The Pyrenees and will seek out other publications -best wishes x
Long time no comment blokeys, just thought I would show face and prove to everyone that I am still very much interested in what you do, just a tad too frozen to message and comment etc up herein the wintery wilds of Scottishland.
Lovely to see all 3 of you getting into the christmas spirit at the cracker event last Sunday ! Ash (glimpsed you as you left!), Tony (Thanks for pics you let us take and for playing the keyboards so well during Jasons short set!) and Ches, as always you were hilarious. The duet with Mr Donovan has to be my favourite live performance this year (For humour reasons!) Great night x
o hello ash . i am just sticking my nose round the door to say hi before i run off to work !
did i read somewhere you guys are due another trip to france this month if so have a really good time . bring back some pictures for everyone to see !
by the way while i am giving your ear a serious bend any news on wheather tony is doing any i'm sorry i haven't a clues . the recordings are about to start (they are well spread out over the next couple of months or so) and my curiousity is killing me . i hope he will be asked . ( i know you can't answer that yourself ash but maybe you might ask on my behalf !) gotta go and deliver homebrew to the thirsty people of dublin ! cheers Linda
Hey guys, thanks for the add. Tony, I'm just reading 'One Hit Wonderland' and I'm loving it. And I really enjoyed reading 'Round Ireland With A Fridge'... I loved your youth hostel adventure. But the part about County Kerry is too small!!! Kerry and esp Killarney is such a lovely part of Ireland. :P Haven't you been to the "Danny Man Inn" in Killarney? Beeeeeest pub in town... I think. Great Irish Folk bands playing live every night! Love from Germany x
Everyone should buy Ches's new (long awaited) album "Another Fine Mess". Its superb - Check out his myspace page, fill out the pre order info and then...await instructions! Its worth it xx
It's been awfully quiet around here the past month! How'd the song writing go? Must be nice to be able to go off to a chateau in the Pyrenees when you want to write. Yep, I'm jealous - I have to make do with the train and my apartment! ;)
found thid on tony;'s web site and thought people might like to know .

So, the much-anticipated "missing chapters" finally show up. And in living color, no less! Very cool, and not just in a "broken car window in the mountains in winter" kind of way. ;)
Just wanted to say a big HELLO &
I hope things are good for you at your ends!!
Getting through another one of Tony's books on my way to work at the moment...just brilliant!! If he'd of written songs with you guys before he had that bet with Victoria, he would of had nothing to worry about!! ha ha
Anyway, Love 2 U xx
