MoviesSometimes bad movies can teach you more about filmmaking than good ones. But watching a favorite well-made movie all the way through with the sound off will teach you more about cinematography, editing and production design than a year of film school!

Who I'd like to meet:
Filmmakers who are ready to take their directing instincts and turn them into reliable tools. We have a small, independent film school that takes a handful of students at a time, and we work closely with them to build dependable, real-world skills that will make sense in any application -- Hollywood features, corporate filmmaking, youtube and video blogging, you name it. Check it out at www.filmmakersbootcamp.net

I got the DVD. Thanks for sending it. I am disappointed about not being able to post it. The class was fun and I learned a lot. I appreciate the time you took to teach it and the sponsors who made it available at such a reasonable price.

Hi Jeffrey, Thank you so much for letting me be a part of the Gorilla Filmmakers Boot Camp. It was a blast! I learned a ton of really interesting things about filmmaking. I can't wait to see our film on YouTube. Let me know if you know of other people that I can connect with to be an actor in their films. Please take some time to sign my guestbook on my profile. Thanks, Brandon
Gregory

haha, i don't think we did. i ordered the soundtrack yesterday, i remember really liking it during the film. a friend of mine performed a monologue from Stardust in acting class today. it was from when the girl confesses her love to the guy as a mouse. anyways, i liked how it managed to get almost every movie genre in 2 hours.

Hey Jeffrey,
I got someone to do the still sequences who knows what he's doing. Turns out it's going to be his senior project too. I'm excited.
Have you gotten to see Stardust?

Jeffrey, there's this font called Trajan Pro, I see it everywhere. I see it about once a day on TV, no joke. I think I'm going crazy.

Hey Jeffrey, thought I might get your professional opinion on some work I did. Scotty Ray, Jay Melashenko, and I worked on the Heinz movie contest. We submitted two entries. If you go to youtube and search for Jason Daub you can find them. Let me know what you think. Hope things are going well for you.

well this guy that tought me just about everything i know about filmmaking once told not to show anyone a project that wasn't finished. that said, my editor just gave me about an hour ago a rough rough rough rough rough rough draft. so if you really really really want to, i can show it to you. and it would good to get your input too. but you'll have to wait until after finals, which end wednesday.
