Hayden Honda: A Brief History

Hayden Honda Powerhouse is a state of the art 24,000 square foot hometown Honda dealership devoted to two things: 1. Our Customers & 2. Our commitment to selling the highest quality powersports product on the market: Honda.

Selling its first bike in 1965, Hayden Honda has been in business over 43 years, selling both powersports products and our reputation as having the customer’s best interest at heart. We may not always have the lowest price, but we will always have the best service. If you don’t believe us, ask any of our tens of thousands of customers.

Hayden Honda began as a welding company in the 1920’s started by Clyde Hayden. In 1948 he sold the welding business to his son Russell Hayden who then maintained the business soley for welding until 1965 when he began selling Honda motorcycles. The business did not change hands again until 1980 when Russell’s son Kurt Hayden took control of the business and continues to operate as the acting president.

Now, 43 years later, we are one of the top 4 dealers in the state of Indiana and one of only 50 Level 5 Honda Powerhouse dealerships in the entire country. Much of our success is attributed to the family oriented, hometown, ..“The customer comes first”.. attitude that Kurt and his family have established over the years.

What is a LEVEL 5 Honda Powerhouse?

A Level 5 Honda Powerhouse is a Honda dealership first and foremost, and an experience second of all. The Level 5 Powerhouse sells new Honda products exclusively in a state of the art retail facility designed to facilitate a positive customer experience and to display the dedication of Honda and the dealership to the customer. In addition, the Level 5 Powerhouse meets or exceeds the highest requirements and commitment levels set forth by American Honda Motor Company and is identified as a dealership most likely to enhance overall customer satisfaction in both purchasing and owning a new Honda product.

Please pass this along to your friends:

We need Congress and the CPSC to end this ban – NOW.

Go to the MIC web site at http://mic. org/letters. cfm . You will find an email generator and customizable letters specifically written for dealers, rider/enthusiasts, riding families and parents, parents of racers and other powersports industry members. The e-mail generator will send a message to your Congressional representatives and members of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee and House Energy and Commerce Committee via the ARRA web site.
