Already established as a solo performer, this last year has seen her piece together a band with a wealth of talent, bringing new dimensions to her sound. So rich and eclectic are her influences that its' hard to tie her down to one genre. Elements of hip hop, middle eastern, soul, blues and folk blended in with an incisive, irrefutable directness fuse together to become something unique, contemporary, uplifting and above all, poignantly true.
