We were Haywood, and we loved you. We hope you never thought any different.
Our final final record, As Long as There Is Track, I Will Not Go Back, is out now. You can now get it at ..

A few important deets on the new record:
1. Juliana Trivers played the violin all over this puppy, and then Ted went and forgot to put individual credits in the artwork. Suffice it to say, she saves the record in many places.
2. Columbia McCaleb sings the role of the better half on "A Pair of Tragic Paper Kites."
3. Dean Baltulonis recorded it at Atomic Recording Co. in Brooklyn.
4. Tom Hutten mastered it at Bionic.
5. This means the record is both atomic and bionic. Be careful.
6. Like a fine wine, it comes with the imprimatur of our long-forgotten house label, Two (2) Peters Records, which we dusted off for this special occasion.
wow! thank you so much. loved all of your records, now there is a new one to love, and guess what: i lovelovelove it! makes me wanna cry, scream, shout and dance at the same time. best, frau schön
hot diggity dog the new songs rock! i can't wait to hear the whole CD from start to finish! hook me UP! John DARNIELLE is going to be spewing expletives for pages & pages now, eh? :P
oh, and please spread the word to NYC bands & musicians that we're currently gathering a pile of bands to play the NYC version of 5 MILLION PEACE MARCH this July.
the new cd is absolutely amazing. you guys have that intangible element in your music that makes even new songs instantly classic/nostalgic and beautiful and sad and kick ass all at the same time.
Guess it is time to start working on a new record laff laff yuk yuk... or at least the rarities comp I used to harangue Jeff and Rob about... make it happen.
i still have the tapes i bought from you guys at the knitting factory in 1998. they still make me happy. thank you for putting out a new record. i look forward to buying it.
