| General | Writing, reading, (but definitely not arithmetic), politics, autism, neurodiversity, fantasy (as in fantasy and science fiction), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Alias, business, family, friends, and, well, did I mention writing? | | Music | Mostly country, but pretty much anything with the exceptions of rap and polka -- they're just icky. | | Movies | Gone With the Wind, Never Been Kissed, Ever After, Everything You Want, It Had to Be You, Save the Last Dance...noticing a theme here? | | Television | Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Alias...both on DVD. Eventually, Angel and possibly Bones, also on DVD. No cable, no dish, no thank you. | | Books | Um...almost all of them. Particular favorites right about now are the Fuzzy Sapien series by H. Beam Piper, the Sevenwaters Triology by Juliet Marillier, anything by Anne McCaffrey or Madeleine L'Engle, Gone with the Wind, the alphabet series by Sue Grafton (you know, 'A' is for Alibi) and the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes novels by Laurie R. King, as well as The Lord of the Rings series, the Chronicles of Narnia, how-to-write books, and lots and lots of others that I can't think of right now. The theme here is I like books. I have found a few I don't like, but they tend to be really old and really obscure...like How to Heal Sheep with a Pitfork...exaggeration obviously, I haven't come across that one yet. | | Heroes | Real or fictional? Hmm. Heroes? I think I'll have to explore that bit of my psyche some other time...sorry. |

About me:
I'm the mother to three beautiful, wonderful little boys who just happen to have autism spectrum diagnoses, and a beautiful, wonderful step-son who's all himself. I write...a lot. I go to college, a little bit later than usual, but I'm maintaining a 4.0 due to the extreme motivation, so yay for me! I'm happily married and rather peculiar...luckily so is my husband.
