This has been the UWO (The United Women's Orchestra) page for the last few years, but as you can see, times are changing... After 16 years we decided to wind down the band and start some new projects. This page now features a wider selection of my work, Christina Fuchs can be found on her own MySpace page. The UWO website will still be online for a while, links to the other musicians can be found there.
About the pieces: the first 3 are for bigband (from the UWO cd's).
"Kijken" is from a songcycle written for children's choir, "The Death of Pan" is for mixed choir.
"Conversations" was written for the dutch winds & percussion ensemble Fiati Complesso.
Hoe gaat het met je? Ik ben net de studio ingeweest, wat liedjes opgenomen en nu maar op mijn MySpace site gezet... Nog niet helemaal af, maar wou je nog een keer ontzettend bedanken voor het checken van de lyrics!!! Tot gauw!

I'm happy and honored to inform you that our new album "MASISAMBA" is almost ready to be released via internet! (there is some artwork left to do). Thank you very much for your interest in what we do. Our MySpace player plays more than 150 times over night ! ! ! ! ! ! It inspires my colleagues ! ! ! ! ! There is not much real Big Band music in today's world. To be frank, it takes a lot of effort to keep musicians together. So your interest helps me to cope with this!
