Naked Ladies Dot Com performed LIVE @ JJ'S BOHEMIA ON MOUSTACHE FRIDAY in Chattanooga, TN
The first installment of the three part series documenting H-Beam's awesome trip to Austin, TX for RedGorilla Music Fest '08. LIVE CUMBERLAND HOP & PORTILLO! H-Beam's RedGorilla Austin, TX Extraveganza 1 of 3 ..
If pig masks, epileptic light shows, robot voices, panda suits, costume changes, hyphens in band names, long hair and beards kinda freak you out, you may want to steer clear of Nashville's captivating experimental rock trio H-Beam.
With an engaging light show that covers the entire spectrum of sensory indulgence, the H-Beam experience is reminiscent of a time when stage theatrics were expected and delivered.
Brothers Matt and Topher Walberg, are the chemists credited with this return to a memorable music experience formula. Each of the armed on stage with an unusual arsenal and the ability to musically multi-task, the band implements samplers, loop technology, synthesizer, and even organ bass pedals while still limiting themselves to thirty fingers and toes.
Backed by and ethereal and organic light show that moves fluidly with the band, their touring lighting technician is secretly the fourth member of the band. Top it off with a dose of three part harmony and clever song writing and you are listening to the forward progression of live music.

Since H-Beam doesn't think there is enough violence in today's entertainment, the Nashville psychedelic rock troupe is presenting a murder-mystery rock show at The Pond in Franklin, TN. On Thursday, May 15th H-Beam will ask you "Who Killed The Love Panda?" Appropriately enough, a few of Nashville's own The Hollywood Kills will be providing their musical talents for the show along with the ever growing cast of H-Beam characters, including Steve from Bluesclues, Detective Dick Racey, and H-Beam's very own drug dog McPuff. This salute to the Golden Age of Investigation will leave no patron unfrisked. Taking the interactive rock concept to a new dimension, The Pond will become the crime scene and H-Beam will engage the audience to become Jr. Detectives in this rock-n-roll-who-dun-it. Get ready to get paranoid and help the Beam find clues to solve the rock-mystery...WHO KILLED THE LOVE PANDA!?!

H-Beam's Encore Performance of Rock Opera, "Jane".
Due to the unbridled enthusiasm and raving response from H-Beam’s
performance of their rock opera “JANE” at Vanderbilt’s Rites of Spring, an
encore performance has been scheduled at EXIT/IN Saturday, May 24th. The
second coming of “JANE” will feature the original 30-minute rock opera,
mixed with new elaborations on Jane’s quest for sexual
liberation.
Along with a full cast of characters as colorful as a rainbow, including
the self-love guru, the Love Panda, H-Beam will take the audience on
Jane’s exploratory journey starting from Nashville’s naughty club scene to
the Rollerderby to Cancun and back again. Consisting of material familiar
to the avid H-Beam fan, but presented in a completely new fashion, H-Beam
will act as musical and spoken narrators for the JANE production with each
guest character adding their own musical performances to the show.
Followed by Nashville’s own The Running, H-Beam will take the stage at
9pm. Like the Rites of Spring performance, H-Beam’s encore presentation of
“JANE” at EXIT/IN is scheduled NOT to disappoint.

And although sometimes it's a roller coaster ride and a struggle, the opportunity to build a musical community and make people smile fuels our drive to keep on keepin' on.
