About me:
Hoosiers Concerned About Gun Violence (HCGV) is an outgrowth of the Healthy City Committee founded in 1990. It brings together Hoosiers concerned about the rising tide of gun violence to seek solutions to this problem at the local, state and national levels. Gun violence is now the leading cause of injury-related deaths for African-American males and the second leading cause for young white males. Guns alone are not responsible for these problems, but the easy availability of guns gives the U.S. one of the highest murder rates in the world. ..
