The Hoochie Coochie Men formed in 1993 as the House Band of Idaho's first blues-based nightclub, The Blues Bouquet in downtown Boise. There, besides performing on their own, they backed up visiting Blues artists such as Coco Montoya, Billy Boy Arnold, Carey Bell, Pinetop Perkins, Michelle Willson, AC Reed, Louisiana Guitar Red, George Stancell and many more.
The HC Men have played all over Idaho and have appeared twice at Portland, Oregon's Waterfront Blues Festival. They released their cd, "For A Good Time Call," in the late 90's featuring original songs by the band's three songwriters.
