How Does It Feel To Be Loved?'s Blurbs |
About me:
HDIF is a London club night that plays indie pop, northern soul, tamla motown, girl groups, sixties heartbreak and lots more. We're on the first Friday of every month at The Canterbury Arms in Brixton, and on the third Saturday of every month at The Phoenix on Cavendish Square.
We've had a host of guest DJs play at HDIF, including Stuart Murdoch (Belle & Sebastian), David Gedge (Wedding Present), Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub), Stephen Street (Smiths/Blur producer), Tracyanne Campbell (Camera Obscura), Dan Treacy (Television Personalities), and The Actionettes (who've also danced at the club several times).

The first release on the HDIF label, a 19 track indiepop compilation called "The Kids At The Club", featuring I'm From Barcelona, Voxtrot, Tender Trap, Language Of Flowers, Fosca, and lots of superb new bands, came out in Sept 2006. Since then we've released albums by Butcher Boy, Saturday Looks Good To Me and Antarctica Takes It! - all are available from http://www.howdoesitfeel.co.uk/hdiflabel.html
