I am currently a dean at the local community college and an adjunct for UT TeleCampus, UTPB, and OC. I am passionate about my job, and I love what I do. My ultimate career goal is to eventually become president of a community college.
My career has been an interesting journey. I began my first professional job as a social worker when I was 21. After two years, I became a parole officer for two years and then was promoted to a supervisor position in which I supervised a unit of parole officers and support staff for three years. I then moved to education when I became the director of the Student Learning Center at OC 4 years ago. I was recently promoted to the dean position, and my focus is now distance education. I also supervise various departments on campus in addition to the centers in Pecos and Andrews. I will never regret moving to education; it was the best decision I ever made!
I love spending time with my husband, who is also my best friend, riding my Harley Davidsons, traveling A LOT, working with my pets, photography, watercolor painting, playing the piano, making handmade soap, making jewelry, reading, cyberslacking. I have a happy life full of amazing people, and I believe in working hard and playing hard. I am intelligent and highly motivated, and I always accomplish the goals I set for myself; I'm also not very humble, but I try! :)

Who I'd like to meet: my family at the end of each work day, my friends at the end of each work week, my fellow bikers on future scenic roads, and the person I am capable of becoming by the end of my lifetime.
I especially can't wait to meet my infant daughter, Victoria Lin. We'll be going to China at the end of this year to bring her home! I've waited all of my life for her.
