About me:

Harley-Davidson of Utica started in 1975 in the midst of the AMF years. In the beginning, the franchise was part of Don's Ford on Route 12 North in Utica.

In the beginning, we were a very small dealer, selling maybe 50 bikes a year. But, by the end of the 1980s, we were beginning to outgrow the little corner of Don's Ford and in the spring of 1993, Harley-Davidson of Utica opened up on North Genesee Street in Utica. Only 10 years later, we were out of room again.

We broke ground in November, 2002 at our current location on Commercial Drive in New York Mills, just west of the Utica city limits and opened our doors in May, 2003.

Today, we are proud of our humble beginnings and also proud that we have current customers who began buying Harley-Davidson® motorcycles from us in those early years. While we have grown with a bigger store and a bigger staff, we stay true to our roots and still prefer to do business on a handshake and fulfill every promise we make.
