Jamie Peter Macauley better known for his stage name "Jay Macauley" AKA "Ghost 91" is a rising up and coming British rap artist from Carlisle, United Kingdom. Born to Peter Macauley and Sharron Denise Macauley (Portsmouth) on the 25th june 1991. The young 16 year old artist is already a rising star in his home city with several underground hits such as One Love, The Black Hand, Letter to God, The Statement, The 64 Bar Documentary, Fresh 2 Def, Ballad of a G and many more bringing banger after banger out. He is currently due too soon complete his underground mix cd "Strapped For Barz" He aims to follow the mix cd with a second underground tape "Strapped For Barz: Volume Two" and his Demo. Jay Macauley started rapping at the age of 11 after listening to his first ever rap Cd The Slim Shady LP released in 1999 which he said "I fell in love with Rap music there and then it was something different from all these commercial pop songs on the radio that are all the same with one topic usually being love which just gets boring but when i heard Rap music it was out of this world it just felt right to me... every lyric has meaning with every artist expressing there views and thoughts whether political or simply thought provoking with not a fuck in the world its revolutionary music... portraying an individuals struggle who we can connect and relate with, look up to as a role model and work towards our dreams... but then again that’s the reason i most likely failed school, i would rather write lyrics in the back of my book than pay attention in class always quietly sitting in my own little world haha... either that or drawing (always wanted to be artist too)" Jay is currently looking for Gigs so if you are interested in booking the thought provoking lyracist contact:
