Headchange was an original rock/metal band from Columbus, Ohio. Originally conceived in the summer of 2003, Headchange went through various lineup changes until the band unexpectedly dissolved during the recording of their highly-anticipated EP in the winter of 2009. Throughout their 5 1/2 year tenure, Headchange enjoyed a good amount of local and regional success. Their recording catalog consisted of: a 3-song demo in 2004, a 9-song, self-titled album in 2007, which was a combination of songs recorded between 2006 and 2007, a 12-song pre-production disc with no vocals in 2008, and a 7-song EP entitled "The Triumph of Calloused Hands" in 2009, which was only 3/4 done. Their video catalog consisted of: 3 music videos that were filmed between 2006 and 2007, and two live shows from 2007. Between 2004 and 2008, Headchange played around 100 shows. Aside from Columbus, they played a number of shows in other Ohio cities, as well as Louisville, KY, Indianapolis, IN, and Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. They also participated in the notable Woodshock festival in Bellefontaine, OH in 2007. Headchange was fortunate enough to share the stage with a number of national bands (the list can be seen on the left side of the page). Wherever they played, Headchange always left their mark with their intense stage presence, musicianship and professionalism. They garnered fan bases not only in Columbus, but in every city they played. Unfortunately, after 5 1/2 years, all that's left is a small legacy and the frustration of not knowing what might have been.
I was inspired by this and so I thought I would share it;
"Affirm to others the vision of the world you want. You are a free, immensely powerful source of life and goodness. Affirm it. Spread it. Radiate it. Think day and night about it and you will see a miracle happen: the greatness of our own life."~Robert Muller
I hope everything is cool there and your world ROCKS! Karen :)
