We are a 5 piece band from Crikvenica ( near Rijeka ) , Croatia. We play grunge / rock / funk music. The members are Dorian Vujnovic ( guitar ) , Filip Blazic ( guitar ) , Ana Jercinovic ( vocals ) , Fran Kurtovic ( bass ) , Igor Domijan ( drums ). We gathered in the spring of the year of 2005 and pretty soon we had the 1st concert in the summer of the very same year. People seemed to like us and that gave us even bigger stimulation to work harder. In autumn of 2005, we came up with a few ideas about our own songs. By spring of 2006 the " ideas " resulted with 5 new songs. As we had everything we needed , we started playing in Crikvenica on the days of it's town celebration, very soon we started having concerts in Rijeka which resulted as a big succes to us. Some important people noticed us and we were invited several times during the year to play with bands of Rijeka together in shows. Meanwhile, in Crikvenica, a musical association was organized under the name " Crikvenica rock scene " which we joined. The association has been organizing rock - concerts pretty often all around Crikvenica and in Crikvenica itself. By the end of summer of 2007, a compilation of 19 songs ( 3 from each band, including Invert, MBurns etc. ) made a whole new CD - " Druga strana predgrada " .
Headcheck is still looking itself and trying out different types of music, so you can always be surprised by something interesting and new.
