Sounds Like
'Wowing the crowds with their confident and self-assured performance, complete with strong vocals and challenging instrumental solos'
'Head-Full, made up of four students from Thurston Community College, blew the judges away with their energetic funk set'- Lindsey Newton of Bury Free Press.
'That was really cool! You guys Rock!! Very entertaining, with so much energy. All 4 of you have such good stage presence and you are all very talented. I am jealous!!! Well done!!' - BurySOUND Judge.
"I always feel a great sense of pride when I book a band that nobody has heard of and they turn out to be so good. Especially when they're so bloody young!" - Daniel (FunkFest)
Forming in their hometown of Bury St Edmunds in late 2007, Head-Full soon began getting regular gigs where they quickly formed a reputation for being packed full of funk and energy – by 2008 they had taken the local battle of the bands, BurySOUND, by storm winning the ’08 title.
In January 2009 they headlined the critically acclaimed and sold out event, ‘UV Bury’, gaining even more local interest for their wild performances. By the end of February they had finished recording at The Shrubbery Studios for their forthcoming releases.
Head-Full also gained the attention of the mainstream venue, The Junction (Cambridge), who gave them a slot to perform alongside d.i.y-indie legends ‘The Kabeedies’ in April. May saw them headlining the BurySOUND 09 launch with guest acts, Alloy Ark, The Empires, & DJ Reuben Kemp (Ex-Thee Vicars), which was featured in Maddog Magazines June edition alongside an interview with Dan (guitarist) & Chloe (drummer).
Head-Full have recently had a a break from gigging to tune their skills, write new songs, create new designs and merch, and to release their first 6-track EP 'Losing Grip' available soon.
They are now back to what they do best, hoping to play as many shows as possible and to see where the world can take them!

As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.
This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!
It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm
As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!
