Head Gap is an analogue-focused multi-track recording studio located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.
Based around a large control room (48 square metres), expansive live room (65 square metres), iso booth and cab room, the studio is an excellent tracking and mixing space for a band or project of almost any size. Visual contact is maintained between all three main rooms with extensive use of glass. Direct natural light prevents cabin fever and keeps the plants alive. Check out our Pics section for some photos.
The principal engineer/producers at Head Gap are owners Brent Punshon and Neil Thomason. Both former muso's, these fine fellows bring a sympathetic ear and sense of adventure to each project they work on. These men live for what they do - in fact, recording music and running Head Gap IS all they do. They love it. Call them for a chat, you will find a friendly voice happy to talk about the nuts and bolts of recording music, and answer any questions you may have. For more info on what these chaps have done, check the Staff page at www.headgap.com.au or give them a call on 03 9480 6280
