Headgear is Daragh Dukes and friends. Ever since their 1st 7" single, “Wonderdog”, which Daragh co-wrote with Dotty, an aged airdale terrier, Headgear have explored themes of identity and oblivion using all available means.

Basic Headgear Recipe / Yield; one headgear song.
3 cups of guitar powder.
1 fresh kick drum sample, lightly beaten.
½ cup prepared Received Pronunciation.
4-pound full fat bass station segments, roughly chopped.
28 portions of AKAI S3000 jam (do not try any other sampler spread).
¾ teaspoon old Italian vinyl records (melted and reduced to half its size).
1 medium sweet string section.
3 ounce package of cracked dry vocal.
EQ, compression and reverb to taste.
Preheat the studio to C 24 degrees. Slow roast for 3-4 weeks, checking often.
Headgear are with their 3rd album at present.

Where that comes from... I did a search for songs about Harry Truman and that R.W Stone one came up, I'm sure you came across it before, but couldn't resist spamming it on you. I found there's a few songs out there about Harry S Truman as well by the way, though not as fondly remembered as old Volvic Harry... I guess it doesn't help if you've had a Hiroshima or two...
