Mainly influenced by 70's rock, Head have relentlessly persued a "classic style". Anthemic, staunch and powerful and most of all, BRUTALLY HONEST - just what a true rock band should be all about!
The band's main influences are drawn from rock, punk, hard rock and metal.
Main Inspirations: Thin Lizzy, The Angels, Rose Tattoo, Black Sabbath, Sex Pistols, The Ruts, N.W.O.B.H.M, Led Zeppelin, Southern Rock (Allman Brothers, Lynrd Skynrd, Blackfoot), Free, Bad Company, Judas Priest, UK Subs, The Cult, Hanoi Rocks, Girl....you get the drift by now!
After 7 years hard labor served touring the deepest darkest corners of the Australian touring circuit and Great Britain's finest pubs, clubs and concert halls... Having shared the stage with the likes of Ratt, L.A. Guns, The Almighty, Rose Tattoo, Stiff Little Fingers, U.K. Subs and many more... leaving 2 classic hard rock punk albums in their wake, a ton of video clips, a lifetime of memories and an absolute truck load of tattoos and punk rock "fuck off" attitude... Head Inc have made the decision to take an extended Hiatus to explore new projects and stretch their legs after too many hours in the tour bus.
This Myspace page will serve as testament to a band that took their own style across the oceans and never took no for an answer, did it their way, on their grounds, and lived, loved, lost and found again. Head Inc found out the way only true rockers do... on the road, on stage, and made their mark on the world in their way... the hard way!
Head Inc won't rule out the possibility of one off shows in the future so stay tuned and thanks for the memories!
The Melbourne based 4 piece is a tight mixture of youth and experience. Ex One Way System (UK punk legends) member Gary Buckley on Vocals, Head Inc's personnel definitely has the fire power to produce the results! Picked up by Faultline Records before the release of their debut album "Demons" in 2006, the label touted them as the next "real" pub rock punk outfit. With glowing reviews and some killer shows with Rose Tattoo, the lads were only really warming up.
November 2008 will see the release of PARIAH and will sound the true beginning of a band whose potential has been bubbling under the surface like the rumblings before a catastrophic earthquake!
THE ALBUM:
PARIAH. 10 massive songs & 3 bonus tracks (excl Australia) with massive hooks! massive riffs! massive beats and a production that can only be described as MASSIVE! Head Inc. reintroduce the classic punk rock anthem attitude on an album that is set to take the band to the next level! Produced by ARIA nominee dw Norton (Superheist, Daysend, Mindsnare), Pariah stands up against the best hard rock the world has to offer.
'PARIAH' out now through Faultline Records/Amphead. Available to download on iTunes and available at JB Hi-Fi and all good record stores.

REVIEW | METAL FORGE
Head Inc. - Pariah (Fautline Records)
By: Justin Donnelly
Looking back, it’s safe to say that Melbourne hard rock outfit Head Inc.’s first two EP releases (2003’s First Edition and 2004’s D.T.T.) were merely practice runs for their debut full length effort Demons in 2006. Everything on their debut was a huge step up for the band compared to anything heard on their E.P.s. Almost a year and a half later, the same comparisons can be made with Head Inc.’s debut outing and their sophomore release Pariah. The relentless touring undertaken by the four-piece act throughout the country, as well as supporting the likes of international acts Ratt, Winger and L.A.Guns has well and truly helped the band (who comprise of ex-One Way System/Horse vocalist Gary Buckley, guitarist Dean Tsolondres, bassist Julian Medor (replaced by ex-Rose Tattoo bassist Stephen "Kingy" King) and drummer Steve Dalton (replaced by FORT percussionist Deon Driver) refine and shape their latest batch of songs on Pariah.
The band gently eases into the album with a strong groove at the start of “Got Wings,” but surprisingly enough, the guitarists maintain some restraint with overall riff structures and solos, while Buckley’s caustic vocals shake up the tranquility with a powerful anthem-like chorus without upsetting the mix one bit. The follow on track “Life’s A Bitch,” on the other hand, is something completely different. The faster pace and big heavy chords certainly push the adrenaline level to the max, but there’s a definite feel of maturity heard within the songwriting that suggests Head Inc. have finally figured out when to hold back and when to unleash all hell. Tracks such as “Greatest Story,” “Strength” and “Rest In Peace” are prime examples of where the band have matured in their songwriting -- enough to perfect the mix of gentle verses and hard hitting anthem-like choruses. But on tracks like “Empire,” the riff-heavy “Lost In The Shuffle”, the punk tinged “Don't Look Now” and the gang vocalized “Hell Or High Water” (which boasts some great soul backing vocals), the band more than prove that while there’s a definite maturing in their songwriting, they can still rock with the best of them.Finishing up the album perfectly is the band’s befitting reworking of the UK Subs classic “Limo Life” (which is also the first promotional video clip filmed for the album, and features a guest appearance by none other than UK Subs frontman Charlie Harper). As good as Demons was, Head Inc. have finally come of age on Pariah.
Quite simply, Head Inc. have improved tenfold. Everything from their songwriting and performances, through to their overall attitude on Pariah sounding above and beyond anything previously heard from the band. This makes Pariah one lethal-sounding release. Expect the demand for Head Inc. to grow beyond the Australian market and see Australia included in their world tour plans rather than tour the rest of the world without consideration for national dates from this point on.
'PARIAH' is available through Faultline Records/Amphead at JB Hi-Fi and all good record stores (also available on iTunes).

SEVEN is incredibly proud to present a night of laughs and brilliant musicianship with ADRIAN EDMONDSON and THE BAD SHEPHERDS!
Saturday May 23rd
"The Bad Shepherds play punk songs on folk instruments. Not as a gag, but because we really like the noise. We think the songs are better than people remember. We love folk instruments. It works.
We do songs by The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Stranglers The Jam, Sham 69, The Undertones, Talking Heads, Squeeze and others, even Kraftwerk! Alright, they're not all punk, but they come from roughly the same era.
We've mostly given the songs a kind of Celtic feel, and we've stuck in the odd reel and jig here and there. But occassionally we just thrash! I've always thought the excitement of a reel taking off is the nearest thing to the excitement of watching punk live in the 70's."
Hey!!! We have a huge show coming up on the 22nd of May, please come down if you can make it and show your support for some great bands. It would mean alot.
RARE COCK SPARRER RE-ISSUES - Now In Stock!
At bloody last!! Two of the most requested and sort after albums have been given the Captain Oi treatment.
Cock Sparrers 2 LP's that were recorded for German Label Bitzcore in the 1990's have been re-issued. However, these releases go beyond our normal 're-issue' standards as they have been REMIXED so are essentially brand new albums!
GUILTY AS CHARGED 2009 was the bands comeback album. Originally released in 1994, our version comes with the ultra rare RUNAWAY EP as bonus tracks.
TWO MONKEYS 2009 was originally released in 1997. Again we have remixed and remastered it so it sounds great! With previously unreleased live tracks as a bonus.
Both CDs have brand new artwork, lyrics and unseen pictures. They have also been remastered by Tim Turan. The original CDs suffered from bad productions so even if you've have got the originals, you've just GOT to hear these versions to appreciate the songs.
Hi Head Inc., we wanted all of our Myspace friends to know that Glenn Hughes Tickets are now on sale & selling fast. No major advertising has started yet so this is just a courtesy heads up to fans so they dont miss out... There are only 3 OZ shows in total & it could be an early sell out!
Some fans have also asked if they can meet Glenn, so we are thinking about Platinum Tix for an after show meet & greet. Please send us a msg via Myspace if you think you would be interested.
Have a great day & hope to see you at a gig in April! GH & Band.
