Seventeen years in the making, headless horseman puts on a family friendly and frightfully scary show once a year. We employ over 100 live actors and place them in professionally created haunted houses and mazes unlike anything in the country. Our enthusiasm and refreshing changes from year to year set us apart from other haunts, always providing our guests with the best show we can possibly give. We hope to start a tradition with your family like we have with countless others country wide who cant get enough of headless horseman. As 2009 approaches we hope to be bigger and better than years before; a goal we meet every year. join us this year for a frightening good time with frighteningly great friends.

Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Houses is ulster county NY's acclaimed halloween attraction that keeps people returning every year with their high intensity thrills and scares and a completely unique experience and environment. This property is over forty five acres of twisted foreboding woods,surreal ponds, and fruit orchards. The property provides a naturally landscaped backdrop for the stories told each year. Our attraction is family oriented and offers something for everyone. Each admission includes all that headless horseman has to offer.


Your ticket includes a thirty five minute hayride through the woods of the property beginning at approximately 7PM. Also included is a labyrinth styled corn maze, and three professionally created haunted houses. Incorporated into the attraction is john shaw's pandemonium midnight sideshow. Once you climb on the hayride there's no turning back, and you are at the mercy of the headless horseman.

Additionally there are three food concessions to enjoy as well as six giftshops with everything imagineable to make your headless horseman experience memorable. These are located in the "midway" where awaits a whole other experience and not for the faint of heart. You didnt honestly expect the horrors to stay in their houses did you?

Our attraction is not recommended for children of age 8 and under, and children under 5 years of age are not permitted on evening hayrides. There is however one day of the season designed specifically for young children. this event takes place in the daytime before the scedualed evening performance. This tiny taste of terror is the perfect fun and friendly halloween environment for children too young for the regular horseman show. Children 14 to 9 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.





Additional nightly entertainment includes The John Shaw Pandemonium Midnight Side- show. John Shaw is back for his seventh year with Headless Horseman, and he has an all new freaky show in store for you. Come witness spectacular feats of human discipline and endurance along with mind blowing illusions all performed LIVE and in the RAW!! John Shaw performs four times nightly starting at 8PM. John has been featured on "The Howard Stern Show", "Ripley's Believe It or Not", "The New Tom Green Show", "Jenny Jones", "Rikki Lake", The Billboard Music Awards and was actually on The Average Joe 4 on NBC. John Shaw performs on the main stage located next to the NEW MAGIC MAGPIE & JOKE SHOP. Come see why people call John "not just another magician", as he corrupts the art of magic one show at a time!
