Headlok is a metal band from NW Chicago burbs. The band started about 4 years ago but has only recently settled on there line-up. Dealing with members leaving and all that good stuff. Headlok developed a sound that is brutal and pure aggresion. Headlok's sound could be compared to the likes of Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God and even Testament. Headlok is metal and strictly metal, its not about hardcore, metalcore, whatevercore or whatever label you wanna put on us, just know that its straight up, kick ya in the face type metal. Headlok is spinning heads with their bone crushing live performances. With influences of the great metal bands of our time, Pantera, Slayer, Slipknot, Machine Head, and Testament, there's no telling what this insane group of musicians can do with the right chance to prove themselves. One track "Wrath of Addiction" is based on strong, old school guitar riffs and pummeling double bass that will blow you away with energy. The bottom line is, Headlok is coming, be ready for a good beat down metal heads!!
