On the Production side: Pete Rock and Dj Premier are huge influences aside from them my favorites are Just Blaze, Ayatollah, Kanye, 9th wonder, Large Pro, Saleem Remi, The Alchemist, Jay Dee, Timbaland, Soul Supreme, Irv Gotti (reasonable doubt era), 45 King, Hi-Tek, RZA and the whole wu-elements production team, its really to many to name cuz i really i get inspired by any and everything.
My favorite emcees are , Rakim, Jay-z, Nas, Biggie, Last Emp, J-Live, Saigon (This cat is the future), Little Brother (Both cats are dope), O.C. (check out that joint w/ soul supreme dope),
and of course that and all that old soul music, like the stylistics, the dramatics, Isaac Hayes, Barry White.....
always been into hiphop, but i was first introduced into the art of beat making back in '99, at the lunch table when my boy john mentioned a program called fruity loops, i played around with it off and on for a minute....Techincally i been REALLY making beats for few years now, but i've always been drawn hiphop AND MUSIC, more specifically i been drawn to the beats..... Right now i am still just trying to step my game up and just make the beats as a hobby. i would call myself a beat maker not a producer, but i am looking to work with some emcees and some other producers just trying to build and shit....... but i want to work with cats who want to take it back to making actual songs about topics not just 48 bars of random nonsense. Don't want to try and sound cliche, but i wanna bring back that essence, make that music that touch the people.
alright hit me up if you interested.. ...
Big Shouts out to my boys El Boogie and Rich Luciano and Thackman, Matty B., Mellow Madness (this cat got the heat), The_Prophet off Soulseek and whoever esle...and a special shout out go...John aka Dj AKTUAL (Where you at? Done with CIA)...for really showing me how to do this beat thing...BORO STAND UP!!!!
