Head of Programmes is essentially the alias of one James MacGregor, a singer/songwriter based in South West England.He writes simple songs that talk of relationships, faith, love and heartbreak.
He sometimes works with a band and sometimes alone.
Head Of Programmes debut release 2007's "Heart Rung Of Hope" Ep, was a limited run of 100 hand numbered discs.
"The Magnetic South" followed in Dec 2008 released via fledgeling indie label FoundObjective.
A new album will be released in 2009 via UPR Records.
Well, obviously... but i mean... in that kind of genre.. :) Have you read the Rama books by Arthur C Clarke? I love them a lot. My favourite part are the aliens who speak in colour, but they have to speak to humans in a dialect, because we can't see all their colours. I thought it was an amazing idea.
